Geodesists work on mapping documents for high-speed lines in Vysočina and Moravská brána

Geodetic work is well underway on two sections of the future high-speed railway lines (HSL) network. Accurate mapping documents are an integral part of the technical designs of the new railways being prepared and form a precursor to documentation for zoning decision or joint permit. Geodesists are now surveying sections of the VRT Vysočina fáze II (HSL Highlands Phase II) between Světlá nad Sázavou and Velká Bíteš and the VRT Moravská brána I (HSL Moravian Gate I) in the area between Brodek u Přerova and Prosenice. The work will last until November this year.

Currently, the so called camera acquisition is being carried out on the terrain surface, i.e. the orientation of the points of contact by means of aerial photogrammetry. This creates the basis for the creation of the digital model. In the coming months, surveyors with measuring instruments will also be on the ground. The aim of the geodetic work is to accurately measure the terrain and the position of objects in the area where the construction of the high-speed railway is planned.

VRT Vysočina fáze II a VRT Moravská brána I are some of the last sections where geodetic work has not yet been carried out. In the past, Správa železnic has already conducted several similar measurements in places where the construction of new lines is planned. However, there is a possibility to carry out additional, complementary measurements.
